Stylist (All Levels)

pHd is looking for stylists of any level, which will be decided during the interview process based on professional experience, education, skill and willingness to support Associate stylists on their career path to becoming a stylist. pHd is focused on ... providing a relaxed environment in which you can advance your skills. pHd is unique in our commitment to endorsing your career trajectory through continued education opportunities. You will be regarded not only as a stylist but also as an educator, paired with an Associate stylist to solidify your breadth and depth of knowledge through hands-on teaching. 

Unique to pHd, all stylist positions enjoys the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses, awarded as an added compensation incentive to supplement the hourly rate.

Roles and Responsibilities (FINISH THIS!!!)

• Greeting clients and checking out guests

• Answers the phone and booking, rescheduling, providing guidance to clients

• Responding to emails from prospective and existing clients

• Upkeep and cleanliness of the salon space

• Inventory management and stocking shelves

• Ownership of salon’s social media channels

• Creates social media content and graphics for social posts, email blasts, print marketing and blog posts

• Updates and maintains pHd’s digital channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

• Responds to client questions and comments across pHd’s digital channels (e.g Instagram, Facebook)

• Runs the register and online booking system

• Escalating client complaints or issues to salon owner only when absolutely necessary

• Completes other creative marketing tasks that may be assigned

• Comfortable initiating and conducting a consultation with each client at the onset of each appointment

• Experienced

• Enthusiastic about communicating basic hair and product knowledge to clients, driving retail sales

• Hyper-focused on sanitation and organization
